Technology

In 2017, we introduced a one-device-per-student initiative in Grades 2 through 8. We are committed to a developmentally appropriate, meaningful integration of technology to support student learning outcomes. Our program focuses on:
  • Responsible use of technology,
  • Information literacy,
  • Development of transferable skills across platforms, and
  • Digital citizenship.
Though students have access to a variety of hardware at all levels, the program emphasizes the use of specific devices that best suit desired learning outcomes for students at each level.

In Preschool through Grade 1, students have access to iPads located on mobile carts in the Lower School. Students in Grades 2 through 6 are assigned Chromebooks that are stationed in their homerooms. In Grades 7 and 8, students are assigned MacBook Air laptops to support their learning.
